Bounty Killer and DJ Khaled Join Forces to Rebuild Western Jamaica After Hurricane Melissa

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Two of music’s biggest names, Bounty Killer and DJ Khaled, are teaming up to bring hope and relief to communities devastated by Hurricane Melissa.

Through their charitable arms — The Bounty Foundation and DJ Khaled’s We The Best Foundation — the longtime collaborators have launched a joint recovery initiative targeting western Jamaica, one of the hardest-hit regions of the island.

“We’re Stronger Now, Jamaica”

Bounty Killer shared the news on Instagram Tuesday, revealing that the partnership will deliver essential supplies, assist with rebuilding efforts, and support hospitals and schools in the days ahead.

“We’re stronger now, Jamaica. I’ve been telling y’all for decades,” the Look Into My Eyes artiste declared, calling for unity and collective strength during the country’s recovery.

A “No-Brainer” Partnership

For DJ Khaled, whose bond with Jamaica runs deep, the collaboration was an easy decision.

“Partnering with Bounty was a no-brainer,” Khaled said. “Jamaica is like my second home — the culture, the people, the music — it’s part of who I am.”

The global producer and record executive has long celebrated his connection to Jamaica, dating back to his early days playing reggae sound clashes and producing tracks with Buju Banton, Mavado, and Vybz Kartel.

Rebuilding Homes and Hope

Funds raised through the collaboration will go directly toward rebuilding schools, hospitals, and community infrastructure, as well as providing aid to families displaced by Hurricane Melissa’s catastrophic winds and flooding.

Bounty Killer also encouraged the public to join the effort, sharing banking details for The Bounty Foundation to facilitate donations.

As Jamaica begins the long road to recovery, this partnership stands as a reminder of what’s possible when music, brotherhood, and community unite for a greater purpose.
