Father Shoots and Kills Daughter’s Stalker After He Forced His Way Into Their Florida Home — Faces No Charges

Written by Primenewsplus

This is a story about a father who did what any parent would do — protect his child at all costs.

Rob Majury, a retired police lieutenant, shot and killed his teenage daughter’s stalker after the man showed up at their Naples, Florida home armed with a shotgun. He has not been charged with any crime.

It Started Online

Ava Majury, 15 at the time, had built a following of over 1.2 million on TikTok sharing lip sync performances. One of her followers, Eric Rohan Johnson, 18, became dangerously obsessed with her, allegedly sending her hundreds of messages on social media and even paying her classmates for personal information about her.

Ava’s parents allowed their daughter to sell Johnson two selfies for $300 — then he started asking her for explicit photos. Her father reached out to warn him off and notified authorities, but Johnson was not deterred.

The Night Everything Changed

Early on July 10, Johnson arrived at the Majury family home with a shotgun and blew open the front door. His weapon jammed, and Rob Majury chased him off — but fell during the pursuit.

“When that sound went off, we knew what it was when we heard that loud boom,” Ava’s mother Kimberly said. “I actually thought my daughter was dead.”

Johnson returned. This time, Rob Majury was ready. Majury stood his ground and shot Johnson with his handgun. Johnson was left to die by morning.

No Charges Filed

The case fell under Florida’s Stand Your Ground Law, which states that a person is justified in using deadly force if they reasonably believe it is necessary to prevent death or great bodily harm. No arrests were made.

“Someone came to kill me. I was in fear for my family’s life, and I had to do what I had to do to protect my family, and I made sure of it,” Rob Majury said.

Life After the Attack

After the shooting, the family moved and Ava began homeschooling. “Everything has changed,” her mother said. Despite the trauma, Ava has continued posting on social media.

This story is a chilling reminder of the very real dangers that can come with online fame — and of a father who refused to let his family become victims.
