A Florida mother is facing serious charges after police say she left four children home alone while she went on a three-day cruise to the Bahamas.
The children included a 2-month-old baby, a 2-year-old, a 7-year-old and a 9-year-old.
According to police, the infant’s father became concerned after seeing what appeared to be a cruise ticket on the mother’s WhatsApp story. She allegedly told him the children would be staying with their great-grandmother.

But when he later went to the apartment, he heard the children inside and called 911.
Police and firefighters forced their way in and reportedly found all four children together in a bathroom without adult supervision.
The mother was arrested after returning to Miami and charged with four counts of child neglect. She has denied the allegations, and the case remains before the court.
