Jay-Z is taking legal action against a woman who accused him of rape, claiming she knew the allegations were false. According to a lawsuit obtained by TMZ, Jay-Z asserts that the woman, referred to as Jane Doe, admitted to her attorney, Tony Buzbee, that the assault never happened. Despite this, Buzbee allegedly encouraged her to continue with the false narrative to extract a large settlement from Jay-Z.
Jay-Z describes the situation as an “evil conspiracy” aimed at extorting money from him. The woman had previously dismissed her lawsuit with prejudice, preventing her from refiling it. Jay-Z claims she confessed to his legal team that her accusations were fabricated, yet Buzbee continues to make false claims of harassment by Jay-Z’s associates.
Now, Jay-Z is suing both the accuser and her attorney for damages in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Alabama. He is requesting to proceed with the lawsuit using a Jane Doe designation, citing the woman’s history of mental illness and medical vulnerabilities.
