A man with a disturbing history has been arrested once more—this time for allegedly sniffing a woman’s backside at a Nordstrom Rack.
The Incident
On July 22, 2025, Calese Carron Crowder, a 38‑year‑old registered sex offender on parole, was spotted in the women’s section of the Burbank Empire Center store. Surveillance footage allegedly shows him trailing a female shopper, crouching, and sniffing her behind. He was later apprehended at a nearby Walmart.
Repeat Offender
Crowder, already known as the “serial butt sniffer,” previously made headlines in August 2023 after a viral video showed him sniffing women at a Barnes & Noble in Burbank. He has prior arrests for indecent exposure, burglary, robbery, and other sex offenses.

Legal Status
The Burbank City Attorney charged him with loitering with intent to commit a crime. He’s being held on $100,000 bail and is scheduled to appear in court on August 1, 2025.
